- Police Constables (AR) – 921 vacancies
- Constables (APSP) – 72 posts
- Constables (SPF) – 8
- Police Constables (Women) – 2749 posts
- Women Police Constables – 94 posts
Educational Qualifications (Eligibility Criteria)
Candidates should be minimum 10+2 or intermediate passed from a recognized board by State Government. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2012, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations in both the 1st year and 2nd year.
Age Limit – Must be between 18 years to 30 years as on 1st July 2012 and age relaxation as per Govt. rules.
Physical Standards for Constable Posts 2013 :-
- For Men : Height must not be less than 167.6 cms and chest must not be less than 86.3 cms.
- For Women : Height must not be less than 152.5 cms and weight must not be less than 40 kgs.
