Combined Graduate Level Examination is conducted every year by Staff Selection Commission for filling up the Group “B” and Group “C” posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Govt of India. SSC CGL 2018 Notification is now released by SSC. The SSC CGL 2018 Online Form will be available for the registration at website www.ssconline.nic.in. Through the SSC CGL 2018 the Staff Selection Commission is going to fill-up approximately 9000 vacancy posts. The posts of Auditors, Assistant, Sub Inspector, Tax Assistant, Accounts Officer, and many others shall be filled-up. Selection Procedure Of SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam 2018…

Following are the successive stages of SSC CGL 2018. Candidates must have to qualify all these steps one-by-one. Only the successful candidate of one stage, shall be admitted to appear in further stage(s) of selection.

  1. Tier-1 Exam : Computer based objective test (CBT)
  2. Tier-2 Exam : Computer based objective test (CBT)
  3. Tier-3 Exam : Pen & Paper based descriptive test
  4. Tier-4 Exam : Skill test/Computer proficiency test & document verification

SSC CGL 2018 Tier-I Exam Scheme

Total questions will be 100 and weightage of 200 marks. Total time duration will be 60 Minutes. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Tier-I Exam.

SSC CGL 2018 Tier-II Exam Pattern

Total questions will be 400 and weightage of 800 marks. Time duration will be 120 Minutes for each paper (total 480 minutes). Paper-I and Paper-II are compulsory for all the posts. Paper-III will be only for posts of Junior Statistical Officer. Paper-IV will be only for posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer. There will be negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer in Paper-II and of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I, Paper-III and Paper-IV.

Tier-III Exam will be descriptive type. It will be Pen and Paper mode test. Descriptive paper will have to be answered in English or Hindi language. Total duration will be 60 minutes.

Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Skill Test…

Date entry skills will be check for the post of Tax Assistant only. Candidates should have a data entry speed of 8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depression per hour on Computer. This test will be conducted for a passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 minutes. Computer Proficiency Test will be hold to check following three modules – (i) Word Processing, (ii) Spread Sheet and (iii) Generation of Slides.
